The Instor3 Project helps with the Global One Dharma Holistic Education Center of Kibera Ceremony

InStor3 Project has been supporting Global One since 2019.  This week, Global One helped with final touches to the new Global One Center for Holistic Education, spiral staircase, in Kibera and Oneness Farm land search in Mumias. Shelley’s January $100 donation went towards the catering of their event.

Details about the Kibera Ceremony from the executive director:

“We are set for local parliament government attendees who confirmed our letters of invitation as well as ministry of education officials.

PERI Group, who supported the construction through a generous grant will also be on site for the ceremony.
We look forward to updating you all after the event.

**Additionally, Thursday at the event, a former Global One Kibera slum student will speak. This student just received news they have been offered a full scholarship to Amherst College.

10 years ago, I foresaw that one day, Global One students would go from the slums to prestigious colleges and come back and speak and share encouragement to others born in Kibera.

This vision came true. We have had several students now receive full scholarships to university, scoring among the top in the nation in Kenya.

It is an exciting time to see such a building be possible in a place like Kibera, just as lotus grows pure, from otherwise, less than ideal conditions (relatively conceived).

May this building serve all beings who pass through it.
May it serve from the source of everything Good.
May it continue to produce changed lives.
May it provide a context of nourishment in body, mind, spirit in self, culture, community and nature.
